Investing in people at every stage
Training and development have long been central to Caxton Group’s approach. Through Caxton Academy, we are helping young people take their first steps into the construction industry, combining structured six-week block learning with practical experience and the skills and confidence they need to progress on site.
But our investment in people doesn’t stop with apprenticeships. Across the Group, we are committed to providing ongoing training, professional development and opportunities for people to build their knowledge and progress their careers.
This approach supports our mission to “empower our team to build with purpose, collaborate for success, and deliver a legacy of excellence”, as well as our vision to shape the future through innovation, quality and commitment while enriching the lives of our team and inspiring talent.

Putting our values into practice
Our four values – Trust, Respect, Integrity and Passion underpin how we work and how we develop our people.
Trust – The foundation of everything we do, we earn trust through honesty, accountability, and close collaboration with our clients, colleagues, and partners.
Respect – We treat everyone with fairness and kindness regardless of role or background, ensuring every voice is heard and valued.
Integrity – We act ethically and transparently in every part of the business.
Passion – Our teams demonstrate enthusiasm for their role, the business and their colleagues, taking pride in everything they do.
“This award recognises our commitment to developing people across the whole Group – from supporting young apprentices through Caxton Academy to providing ongoing training and development for colleagues at every level and in every role. It reflects our values of Trust, Respect, Integrity and Passion, and we’re incredibly proud of everyone who has contributed to this achievement.” Chris Bellamy, Group Managing Director.

Winning the Training Excellence Award is fantastic recognition for everyone across Caxton Group who contributes to training, mentoring and supporting the development of others.
Most importantly, it reinforces our commitment to continue investing in our people, creating opportunities and developing the skills and talent that will help shape both the future of Caxton Group and the wider construction industry.
