New Contract Award – Edward Street Hospital

Caxton Builders has secured the masonry and internal scaffold package for the construction of a new extension to Edward Street Hospital in Sandwell, West Midlands. The extension will provide modern accommodation to eradicate the dormitory style wards in the older parts of the hospital.

Plans include building an additional unit that will provide modern, en-suite accommodation for patients, and developing a therapies hub to support treatment and recovery. The design will ensure a sustainable build process throughout the development works for end user Black Contry Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and valued repeat client Vinci Construction.

Caxton Builders will work alongside main contractor Vinci Construction on this £1.45 million project.
