Client feedback from Torsion Construction

Congratulations to Caxton Façades Site Manager, Kev Grocott,  a very worthy winner of this month’s star of the month. Kev is currently the Site Manager at Hollis Croft – a Build-to-Rent (BTR) scheme set to become a standout development in the heart of Sheffield. This mixed-use building will rise from 7 to 17 storeys, featuring 234 residential units, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments.

Client feedback  from Torsion Construction

Torsion Construction Senior Site Manager, Carl Ashley said, “Kev has been an invaluable asset to the Hollis Croft project. His proactive approach to site logistics and planning has greatly supported our team, particularly in sequencing façade works while coordinating mast climber access for other trades. This level of collaboration has allowed Caxton to progress ahead of programme – a testament to Kev’s efficiency and teamwork.

Kev has also embraced the planning philosophy I follow: “People, ideas, machines – in that order”, a principle coined by US Naval Officer, John Boyd. It’s clear Kev puts people first, and the results speak for themselves.”

Caxton Façades Contracts Director, Tom Prince, added, “I highly commend Kev for his hard work and dedication. The materials storage and coordination with other trades has been key on this project, Kev’s positive communication with Torsion Construction has created a professional, productive working environment for our operatives and successful start for Caxton Facades”.

Congratulations, Kev.
