3rd January 2023.
Tell us about your role within the business?
Commercial running of projects – from pre-start, ordering materials and agreeing contracts. To booking in the bricklayers and apply for money from the money contractor. Costing and agreeing variations and monthly cost value reports.
Where are you based?
I am based in the Caxton Group Derby office or on site.
How would you describe the culture within the business?
Each and every team member is highly thought of within the company and nothing is too much trouble. There is a real sense of teamwork. Everyone is very positive and the business continues to grow.
What would you say at the main advantages to working for Caxton Group?
The people – everyone is very helpful and the environment is relaxed. People of all levels are very approachable and the whole business has a lovely open door policy.
How would you describe the career progression / opportunities within the business?
Its still early days however I have seen an extremely positive attitude towards allowing people to progress their career. Caxton actively encourage people to progress within the business.
How would you describe the training and development at Caxton Group?
There is a keen mindset within the business to assist employees to gain further training and develop within Caxton Group. Caxton fully support any training requirements, which is a huge advantage.
How would you describe the benefits to working at Caxton Group?
The feel within the company is relaxed which makes work more enjoyable. There is a good bonus scheme which is very well thought out with it being divided throughout the year.
