Caxton Group and Stofix UK charity golf day returns to support the Lighthouse Charity

Caxton Group and Stofix UK recently welcomed customers, suppliers and industry partners to our annual charity golf day at Chevin Golf Club in support of The Lighthouse Charity.

The event brought together teams from across the construction industry for a day of golf, networking and fundraising, all in aid of a charity that provides vital emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families.

Chris Bellamy, Managing Director of Caxton Group, said:

“The work carried out by the Lighthouse Charity makes a real difference to people across our industry, which is why supporting the charity remains so important to us. We’re still counting the funds raised from this year’s event, but we’re hopeful of matching last year’s fantastic £10,000 total. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a success.”

A crucial element of the charity’s strategy is to provide a range of free and widely available reactive and proactive resources to support the industry.

We offer a free and confidential 24/7 helpline, live web chat service and text facility which provides a range of information, guidance and support on a huge variety of wellbeing issues. These services are complemented by our free self-support app, along with our Lighthouse Beacons who provide a safe space for people to share concerns.”
