Caxton Builders: Yeoman Park Academy

Caxton Builders has completed Yeoman Park Academy (YPA) for BAM Construction. Designed by Noviun Architects, YPA is a special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) school located in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The new purpose-built facility will cater for 138 pupils with a wide range of abilities, aged 3-18. As part of the Department for Education School Rebuilding Programme, the facility achieves Net Zero Carbon in Operation (NZCiO). Caxton Builders scope of works included brickwork to the external façade and blockwork to the internal plant rooms.

Jamie Tring, Site Manager said, “It has been a pleasure working with the team at BAM UK & Ireland on my first project at Yeoman Park Academy since joining Caxton Builders in June. Pleasing to say that the brickwork to the external façade was delivered on time and to a very high standard with a great team to achieve a collective success. Caxton Builders Managing Director, Ian Knight said, “This project marked Site Manager Jamie Tring’s first project completion since joining Caxton Builders, and we’re proud of the work delivered. Completed over just 12 weeks. A great achievement by all involved”.
