Caxton Group Values: Caxton Academy Seminar Day

This week, Caxton Group welcomed 19 of our apprentices to Birmingham for a dedicated seminar day focused on learning, reflection and recognition. Held at Conference Aston in Birmingham, the event brought together apprentices from across the business.

The seminar was attended by members of the senior leadership team, Chris Bellamy, Andy Townshend, Scott Millington, Ian Knight, Vikki Rushton, and Caxton Builders’ Gareth Williamson, and Tiffany Hardwick, whose involvement reinforced the importance of the Academy and the development of future talent within Caxton Group.

Living Our Values

Caxton Group Managing Director, Chris Bellamy explains, “We spent time communicating what our values, Trust, Respect, Integrity and Passion truly mean at Caxton — not just as words on a wall, but as behaviours we live by every day. They define how we work, how we lead and how we treat one another. We also encouraged our apprentices to explore their own personal values, discussing how these shape decisions, relationships and long-term success both professionally and personally. By grounding development in shared principles, we strengthen our culture and create consistency across the business.”

Trust: The foundation of everything we do, we earn trust through honesty, accountability, and close collaboration with our clients, colleagues, and partners.

Respect: We treat everyone with fairness and kindness regardless of role or background, ensuring every voice is heard and valued. Perception is reality in everything we do.

Integrity: Act ethically and transparently in every part of the business.

Passion: Demonstrate enthusiasm for your role, the business and the people within it. Take pride in the quality of your work.

Caxton Builders Managing Director, Ian Knight said: “Our apprentices are not just part of the business, they are a vital part of its future. When we talk about Trust, Respect, Integrity and Passion,  those values are lived every day by all of our team members.”

Supporting Growth and Performance

Alongside the values session, the seminar introduced new procedures and operational improvements designed to strengthen performance and consistency across the company.

We also reinforced our commitment to structured mentoring and coaching. Every apprentice benefits from clear guidance, regular feedback and accountability, ensuring they are supported at every stage of their development.

Celebrating Achievement: The Caxton Awards
