Planner / Programmer Richard Tester joins Caxton Facades

We’re delighted to welcome Richard Tester, Planner/Programmer, to the Caxton Facades team. Richard is a seasoned professional with a diverse background, spanning the structural steel industry and project management roles across various sectors. 

Richard brings with him a wealth of experience and a passion for advancing construction methods into the future. We caught up with Richard to learn more about his experience and new role.

From steel skyscrapers to multi-sector project management

My career journey within the structural steel industry began across London’s skyline, where I honed my skills alongside seasoned steelworkers – developing hands-on skills and knowledge around techniques and safe system working. During my transition into project management I oversaw projects in a number of sectors including rail, waste management, water, and nuclear.

Focusing expertise on planning and execution

I have a keen eye for planning and execution – this is what is at the heart of every project, and joining Caxton Facades allows me to further utilise that skill set. I’m proud to be working with a multifunctional team, driven by a shared understanding and motivation to drive success and foster innovation and excellence in every project.”
