Fighting for a good cause – Todd Wilkinson raises money for Mind

We’re thrilled to support Todd Wilkinson, Site Manager at Caxton Builders as he steps into the boxing ring for a great cause. Todd is taking part in the Ultra White Collar Boxing (UWCB) event to raise funds for Mind, a charity dedicated to providing vital support and resources for those experiencing mental health issues. The event is held at Market Hall, Burton on Trent on 7th December 2024.

Why UWCB?

Ultra White Collar Boxing is a unique event where participants undergo an eight-week training programme before competing in a boxing match. The challenge is not only about the physical preparation – but it’s about making a meaningful difference for those affected by mental health problems.

Supporting Mind

Todd commented, “Mental health is a massive thing for me having been affected personally and knowing many people that are in the same position. So I want to raise as much money as possible to help fund more resources. Mind works to ensure nobody has to face a mental health problem alone. People need their support more than ever, and demand for their services is growing”.

Mind works to offer advice and support to empower those with mental health issues, and they campaign for improved services and understanding surrounding mental health. By taking part in UWCB, Todd aims to raise both awareness and funds to support Mind’s important work.

How can you help?

Support Todd and Mind by donating through his fundraising page. Every contribution makes a difference. Join us in cheering Todd on as he trains and prepares for fight night.

At Caxton Group, we’re proud to stand behind Todd in his commitment to making a positive impact. Best of luck, Todd!
