When did you join the business? 

2013

What role(s) do you have / have had within the business? 

I started as a joiner, moving up to joinery manager, construction director for Joinery and now I am director for façades.

How many people / departments do you now manage? 

I currently manage around 50 people including operatives. 

Where are you based? 

I work throughout sites nationwide and also the Derby office. 

How would you describe the culture within the business? 

Caxton is a nice and friendly environment to work within. Everybody works together as a team to move the business forward and address any issues collectively. 

What would you say at the main advantages to working for Caxton?  

Within the group there are so many great individuals who are a pleasure to work with. Working for Caxton also gives us flexibility and understanding. We work hard and are financially rewarded accordingly. 

How would you describe the career progression / opportunities within the business? 

Due to the businesses constantly growing, there is potential for career progression for all members of the team should they be willing to work hard. Nobody is held back with regards to their career progression.

How would you describe the training and development at Caxton? 

Caxton believe in ongoing training to enable people to reach their full potential and ensure compliance. So, if training adds to someone’s development, all ideas are welcomed.  

How would you describe the benefits to working at Caxton? 

Hard work and motivation are rewarded with a KPI/salary related bonus. There are lots of other benefits including holidays, pension, health care etc. 

What would you say to someone who is thinking of working for Caxton?

Don’t do it. Ha-ha I mean do it!
